Sudoku ′

This is a good app with a full 9 x 9 grid and it takes up a small memory space. Has a features that allow you to enter a number as many times as you like plus it indicates where selected number is elsewhere on grid etc. (Adverts at the bottom of screen are not too intrusive). Just a pity it does not have medium or hard as a free option but adverts & pay for upgrade makes them money so not surprising, D

Hard is easy Daily Challenge NOT Way too easy to change a locked in number, bouncy tube or bus & you can change a number & not even realise. Then trying to manually change it back is not intuitive. Pencil marks not intuitive. Completed numbers not highlighted so I keep selecting. The little dots are ok but better if highlighted when complete. Worse of all, the functions of the buttons keep changing, if you don’t pay 100% attention a number can be inserted due to the convoluted pencil system. Constantly fighting the pencil system, not fun, it needs a complete rethink.

If you are looking for a proper sudoku page, get this! My mum had it and I loved it so I got it and it really is brilliant! If you put a number in the wrong place it lights up yellow. That I find is great because some apps don’t do that. You can even choose your level! You can turn it to light mode or dark mode so if your tired then it’s not a bright screen. My advice is to JUST GET IT.

I like the screen layout and choice of levels. It’s one of the best Sudoku apps but it has one thing I don’t like. If you select a square with a pencil mark already in it the UI defaults back to pencil. If you have made a lot of pencil marks in a lot of squares you will have to select the square, turn off the pencil and enter the number. Repeat for every square you have put a pencil mark in. It gets tedious.

This game (sudoku) is very fun and is good. I use it for testing my brain. It helps me concentrate. Also, I’m pleased that if you put a number wrong, then you can change it without a mistake put down. The one thing that I find slightly puzzling is that it has many levels and one is called diabolical, but is quite easy. Otherwise I really like it!
