Steampunk Puzzle Physics Game

Make the puzzles more challenging at least on phase one so as to not loose your target’s focus or attention. In the same breath, it would go without saying to not make phase one overly challenging either. But as one user referenced, far too many of phase one puzzles are simply a slight adjustment where some may think of this as lazy development. Any criticism aside, this game has a whole lot of potential and is cleverly put together and wonderful to pass the time! Keep up the good work!

It’s honestly a cool game to throw a couple minutes at. It’s just, as a physics based game it seems inconsistent sometimes from turn to turn. If I drop a ball and it pings off a brick, you'd think it’d ping the same each time, each turn, if nothing else has changed on that level. You can’t really fine tune multiple bricks to get that ball to the hole if theres an inconsistent hit right off the first brick.

Some of the puzzles are just random hit the ball until it drops into the tank. The one that requires the screen to be moved just not functional and does not make sense. Sometimes the screen would not respond and other times it was very slow. Moving it up and down to just the bumpers is impossible because you cannot plan anything. When you can’t see what you’re doing it doesn’t make sense. Fortunately I could just skip the puzzle as it was not even fun. It could be a reasonably good time waster if you didn’t hit frustrating levels that did not function well.

So far the game is enjoyable. The ads are necessary to support the developer and the game itself, and even though they’re full 30s ads, they’re few and far between. I like that. I truly enjoy a game that offers perks for a rating and doesn’t demand a 5 star for it, but there needs to be more time “behind the wheel” for an educated rating. So far, the game has been a fun little brain tease. That is, until stage 2 began. It’s no longer about moving objects to interact with the falling sphere- now it’s all about drop timing. It may go back to the fun object interaction, but the rating prompt happened 2 levels into stage 2, so I have no idea. As of now the game is at least a solid 3-4 stars. If it blows my socks off I’m sure I’ll revisit this rating and increase the star count. If not, well... maybe give the user a little more time before prompting?

The concept of the game is simple - just drop the gear and bounce it off various objects into the bucket. The challenge come in with positioning the objects so the bounces go where you need then to. What I really like about it is that the physics of the game (the bouncing) is very repeatable, and movement of the objects is pretty precise, so I've yet to find a level that seems "unsolvable".
