SRP FCU Mobile

When SRP first switched to a mandatory app for online banking, I was very upset, I was used to going to my favorites in safari and logging in with a name and password. But after going through the initial set up, it’s now one click on an app and my finger print, and everything I need is one click away. No more taking a five minute break to check my bank account, ten seconds and one finger is all I need to do all the online banking I require. Excellent app design. Convenient. Simple. Sleek. And small, barely taking up any hard drive space. Highly recommended.

A lot of people are giving the app grief for their own mistakes. I failed an attempt to login the day of release and remembered I received an email weeks before and a reminder the day before on how to login on the new app. When I plugged in the new information the app opened right up and prompted me to create a new password. After that it’s been quick, and clean. The only issue I’d have is I liked the way the old app displayed your available balance larger than what is in your account. This app has a lot more bells and whistles too.

Pretty happy with my all around business with SRP credit Union. Been a member since it was just one tiny building located on the Savannah River Site. Always been satisfied with all my contacts with the personnel. On the insurance guy that sends you a 1000$ policy to get your address then send you a hard copy letter offering best insurance prices, I called him and give him my information and he said he would get right bThat’s been 4

After downloading the new SRP mobile app once I got to the phone number verification it would have an error. Uninstalled then reinstalled the app still had the error message. So I scrolled down to the bottom of the app and clicked the email tab. Emailed them my issue and responded pretty fast. They fixed the problem by adding my phone number to their file and now I can log in with no problem

Just not all that impressed by this app. The old app was much more simplistic in its design and more user friendly. This new one just complicates things for the purpose of “you can do more”. Yeah, I don’t need to apply for a loan via an app, but thanks. I prefer the one on one personal effect for that. Seems to me apps are going to do to smart phones what automated phone systems did for general LAN phone lines. And who likes automated systems? NOBODY!
