Sports Predictor: Fantasy Game

I’ve always loved Premier League, especially now that I can see Spurs every week on NBC (not like the old days of watching grainy satellite feeds at an English friend’s house). This app does for fantasy soccer what NBC Sports did for EPL - broadens the base and allows more people to enjoy, while simultaneously featuring enough detail and goodies for expert fans. You get extra content, a reason to watch even more games...oh yeah, and win $5,000 a week or $50,000 if you get them all right. Like the early days of HQ, it makes for appointment television. Can’t wait to see what they do next. Only thing that would be better is if Men in Blazers narrated some voiceovers.

Great app and fun to play leagues but I just had my phone replaced and I had to start from fresh and not my backup and for whatever reason it’s not asking me if I want to setup notifications and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. I’ve hit the app support button with no luck and no way to contact them and without the notifications I forget about them. I’ve had to add one to my reminders and that’s just not the place for that. Please fix this. I’ll revise my review then. Update: So I have found that signing in after a reinstall does not give you the option to set notifications but you can fool the system by trying to sign up using the same info and going through the motions. It’s not ideal but it will work. The app needs coded to correct that. In addition the notification spam needs to stop. After I make my picks the notifications needs to stop. The app just continues to remind me and tell me about making my picks even after they have been made. There is literally no reason for that. Also a badge until those picks are done would be totally enough. I don’t need to have my Notification Center littered with repeated make your pick posts. Let’s clean that up guys.

You shouldn’t be surprised to learn that one of the oldest and largest TV networks in the United States can be trusted, but it bears stating. I can attest that if you were to win some amount of money, in my case I won a whopping 4 bucks, you will receive the money. Be aware that there is a bit of a waiting period, about 10 days, but you will receive the money in your PayPal. App support is strong, too. As far as user experience, it’s easy to use this app and you don’t really need any expert knowledge of the sports to participate. I certainly don’t know much about Premier League soccer or NASCAR and I’m able to score points.

The app needs improvements and enhancements. I have found the following problem: Under profile sub minuets the app does not update ones score. First week I had a score of 12 in the month of December. In the second series of games I had 28 but this has not been added and updated. Second you guys might want to add features to show different stats for how many people won in each category of numbers and optionally the amount of money in each category. Top winners, etc... Is anyone else noticing high data usage with this app? I will open the app up view a few things close it so that it isn’t running in the background and reopen it later to check scores. With this method I have been noticing large data usage numbers. Is anyone else noticing this as well and is this normal? I also with I was able to view and make updates while traveling. I live in California and travel for a living, today I tried to check my golf score and make picks for Sunday and I’m told it’s not available in my location! It should remember where you set up your account or your home address and use that info. So I’m unable to use this app while working out of the country. It’s free so I guess I can’t complain much but annoying.
