Once you provide the application a picture from your phone’s camera or photo library it uses a neural network to automatically classify your spider. This classification is an estimate provided by the network and will be subject to error. The application also provides general information on the classified spider (along with all spiders in the SpiderAI database) including a picture, Wikipedia description, and potential threat information.
