Socket Mobile Companion App helps configure and check the status of Socket Mobile Barcode scanners. Most apps developed with Socket Mobile SDK, such as Square, ShopHero, require user to set their Socket scanners in Application Mode. Socket Mobile Companion walks users through this process with step by step instructions. Note: Setting scanner to Application Mode is not needed for customers who only need to use their scanners in HID Mode (the default scanner mode).
