Smytten: Try Samples & Shop

Earlier there used to be full sized products on the trial feed, but now it’s only sample sized ones. It made the deal just right to have at least one full sized product in the mix. Also, the number of items could be a bit more, like when you give 6 of them it’s really great. I’ve ordered so much from here and the one time I got damaged stuff they replaced it so that was also prompt. Just this one hiccup of lesser trials and no more full sized products is present otherwise really nice platform to try out new things. :)

The app constantly keeps crashing whenever I try to make a payment. They deducted money from my Paytm twice for the free trials. So I was forced to make it a COD. When I raised a complaint they will refund one payment and the second one they will convert my package to a prepaid order instead so I won’t have to pay on delivery. Their delivery service is so bad. After having reached the local point it took them 5 days to deliver it and every time I called the customer care, they said that apparently the delivery boy tried to reach me but I did not answer - which was not the case. They never called me. When the package came to me it was still on COD so I had to pay them again. And they still haven’t refunded my payment to me even though I have raised several complaints nobody has responded. Don’t order anything from them. They only cheat you from your money. Even the time before that when I ordered their payment page crashed and same thing happened but nobody responds to the complaints you raise.

165₹ for delivery for the minimalist products you get 50ml/gm or whatever but when u see the price is 500+ but people don’t se the quantity it’s more than 150ml so it’s obvious you getting what you paying for ! No free trials ! They say they will return the money in ur wallet and you can’t buy anything anywhere else with their wallet money and for the fact of the matter can’t even buy in their own store as things are overpriced so to recover your 165₹ you have to add another 500-1k for all mediocre products which nobody wants to buy ! And yup no well known international brands ! They show flashy screens of all international brands but you get to use some startup brand who nobody’s herd off !! Stay away !

I had purchased the items 4 days ago and till now I don’t have received any update. They had given me cash back which is in their wallet only which will be expired in 28 days, and you can redeem that once you again purchase the items of 500/-. Why anyone will again if you can’t deliver the placed order. Moreover when I call there customers care on Sunday - their is automated voice recording said call us on working days and now on Monday my call is even not connecting to that no . It’s ok I had lost my 199/- only but at least other user will be aware not . Don’t install the app and don’t purchase anything.

I am absolutely disgusted with this stupid company. They have no process what so ever. I ordered 3 Products from them and they delivered only 2 and just to deliver the 3rd missing product thay have been hoing back and forth with emails telling me they have escalted the matter, which is absolutely rediculous. I called the cutomer care nd they hve no clue what the issue is. After several emails and calls they are now telling me it will take a week’s time to just send the missing product. Smytten is the most incompetent and pathetic app ever and i would never recommend it to anyone. I shop online all the time, this app is the worst experience I have had.
