Thank you! I have been looking for several years for an app that was simple enough for me to place on my father's iPad or iPhone. As an older retired person, he really just needed a simple app that did not require him to use a lot of different taps to get into the places that he needed to input and update. He needed something where he could see all the information upfront and find it easily given his poor site.
Without needing any tutorial, I immediately started in putting his bills and their payments, pay dates, websites, etc. in the app, with no problems and no crashing. I can easily view the totals of what is still owed, what has been paid, and the total amount of his bills. I was able to do everything quickly, with no time-consuming inputs in numerous places or screens. Also, the app is keeping track of his reoccurring bills on a without my having to tell it to select some option for reoccurrence. It has this great "bill options" menu where I can quickly go to the website and pay the bill, or delete the bill, etc. Each bill profile also has a small "notes" area where I can leave my dad reminders about whatever information that he needs to have for that bill or its website. Making corrections is fast and easy too. I like that there is a sync feature because I can now put the app on his iPad and help him with his bills or with the app at anytime.
This app is a great tool for anybody but, I think it is especially helpful for people who really need to focus on the "Bills" section of their budget. I would especially recommend this app to anyone who has a simple budget, anyone who wants to track their debt and payment, college students, high school students, retirement folks who don't deal with a lot of their own investments in finance, etc. It is extremely practical. Thanks so much!!!
For the next update, please consider 2 helpful additions to this app. Could you add an area where a user can input his/her income, paychecks, or financial aid checks when he/she receives them please? This one additional page/area should allow the user to see how much money he/she has, as well as how he/she much has left as each bill comes out on the main screen. It would be helpful to have it as a side button or tab that doesn't interfere with the current system on your main screen. Also, this feature for income should allow you to enter income amounts manually, or to select a reoccurring paycheck date and amount if you choose to do so. It also be helpful if the total income left would be one of the totals that populates at the bottom with the other totals on the main screen. (For example, I know my father likes to total up all his different income sources before he makes decisions about how to pay and when to pay each bill that is not on auto pay. He likes to be able to manipulate how much he'll have left based on what amounts of income he's received (some of which are stable amounts and some of which come at random times in the year, like tax returns).
Secondly, Could you add an option where we could use Facebook or Google to create the sync account with. If you did so, we would be able to use a familiar/trusted source as an option for login, and we would not need to create the extra password and username (which is not so much fun).
