Sign BSL

What an amazing app! I’m not deaf, but love to use BSL as a teaching tool to help scaffold learning, making language more accessible to visual and kinaesthetic learners. Sign BSL is not only easy to use, it’s comprehensive, dynamic, and the developers have worked hard on improvements, adding definitions to make signs more explicit. They’ve also added additional features eg zooming, to make for more accessible functionality. Finally, the support team are great! They are open to suggestions and are 100% responsive. The app is good with videos for the words I’m searching for. However the ‘previously searched words’ are not mine, so each time I go on the app there’s loads of quick links to weird words. I want my previous ones to be displayed so I can refresh when needed. It’d be helpful to be able to save favourites as well and have categories to help me better search for appropriate words.

Excellent app. Used for several years. Perfect when you want to search for the odd word. Updated app is better than old - appears to have dealt with faults that it previously had . Recommend to several people.

As a ten year old girl who is not deaf, I found that this app helped me a bunch. Some videos I have to watch again and again, but it’s all part of the fun. HUGE recommendation of mine !

I use this app pretty much every day and I love it. I would REALLY like to see a ‘save’ or ‘favourites’ button though, so I can keep track of the vocab I’m learning. Pretty please?!
