Sea Of Giants: Monument Island

I liked that there were NO ads. I like being able to turn off music, and able to get clues. Once, had to get help from online. Twice, (Simon says and block building puzzles) I had to be precise or the puzzles thought my fingers would hit the wrong piece and would have to start over. Crashed twice, once at beginning and then again near the end. Took me several days to finish, working on it when I had time. Overall enjoyed and would recommend. Would rate it 4.5. Thanks!

I originally gave this game one star because the ads were so overwhelming. I’m glad I can upgrade it because of bug fixes and the removal of ads. This is an imaginative game with imagery quite different from any other games I’ve seen and things don’t always work as I expect. I’ve been enjoying a number of tablet based adventure games and I like this one for it’s uniqueness. I hope others will look at the new version, with ads removed, and see what an enjoyable game this is and re-evaluate any negative reviews. I would really love to see a sequel.

Update: Almost two years later i reload the game to try again. Got stuck at same feather puzzle for same reason. You cannot pass the puzzle because it reacts as though you have pressed in the wrong place. Can’t get skip to work either. Can’t believe they never fixed this. 6/4/19 I wish I had read through all the reviews. Same exact problems early in the game. Feather puzzle with poorly defined touch areas. (You touch Yellow, red lights up). Also had same problem with tile puzzle. Solved, and nothing happens. Makes it hard to trust anything. Also sounds are too cutesy and annoying Waste of money. I am playing on an iPad mini.

Great game!!! Puzzles weren’t too difficult and if they were (multi color statue in the 3rd or 4th scene) the skip option was nice to have as a back-up. I was slightly disappointed to have played it in one sitting but I played the easier mode rather than the more difficult. Let it be known that my child has more patience than I do, hence the skipping of a few puzzles. Waiting for second chapter!!!

Sweet game with good puzzles. Not too hard but not a quick breeze through like most games now a days. Great art and concept. Refreshing. :) Didn’t hurt the experience but A few tap games the tap location was off or I had trouble getting a key part of the scene to reveal on tap and had to use clues to help me even though I’d tapped those locations multiple times
