I’m getting acquainted with your sure and content on my Apple TV. I’ve run into some frustrating issues that have me wishing I had the extra 80 bucks to buy the season of my favourite show and bypass your site altogether. I’m watching x files. In three episodes I’ve been kicked out of the app 5 times. This would be less of a hassle if I could go into Apple TV app and have the show pop up on the “watch next “ list. Rather I have to go back into your app, navigate to the show and scroooolll back to season one. I believe most issues were on the commercial breaks but there were at least two that’s kicked me out mid dialog. Hope this is fixed because I like your content.

The range and quality of SBS entertainment, is way, way, above anything else when it comes to free to air and even paid streaming services. It literally has endless quality content and genres (from crime, drama to comedy) and yes it's free. Hence the reason they have ads to help cover costs. Unless you like watching ridiculous game shows or re-runs of Judge Judy & Cops (complete trash tv), then literally no other channel comes close to it's quality content. All other channels with bigger budgets should literally be embrassed at their content. It's a fantastic app. 10/10. The fact nearly every review here (positive or negative) gets a legitimate reply from developers is a flashback to the days of proper customer service and care. Almost Unheard off in 'modern times'. To be commended.

I get the need to advertise on a free to air platform, I honestly do. That doesn’t mean you can just disregard the whole user experience though. Here are some questions you could ask yourselves (and in doing so might help you understand why most people are happy to pay to watch advert free streaming). 1. Do you believe that dropping incongruous shorty adverts in the last 15 minutes of some of the hardest hitting TV of recent years, which is building to an emotional finale, is in any way a good tv experience? 2. Is consistently cutting to adverts 3 seconds from the end of a scene the right approach when you could have just waited to the end of the scene? 3. Do you feel that making then ADVERTS SHOUT AT YOU REALLY LOUDLY somehow makes them more effective? 4. Do you realise that showing me the same advert seventy four million times makes me seventy four million times less likely to buy it? 4a. Do you know where those meerkats live? I have developed a pathological hatred for them and want to take direct action 5. Have you considered the fact that if you offered it ad free I might be willing to pay for it (as I do with many other things) Anyway, just thoughts or you can continue to flog the dead horse that is traditional tv models and hope to see different results

Horrible experience with streaming the shows I would like to watch. Often comes up with the error message saying there’s a problem in playing the episode. Also if I’m exiting out of the app and there is an ad playing it will continue to play rather than stop. There’s been a few times that it hasn’t paused at my progress, I go to watch it the next day and have to scrub through the episode to find where I was up to. And before anyone asks, the internet connection is perfectly fine. I don’t have issues streaming off other apps, but there are a lot of bug errors that really need to be fixed.

Love this app and the SBS content. Quickly got bored of Netflix limited library ,that’s when I discovered this little gem. The movies have adds but very few and brief . Surprisingly I welcome the adds as it keeps me up to date. Features include favourites and movie suggestions based on what you watch. Not sure what the others are on about in app review as I’ve been using this app on both my iPad , phone and iPad. It seems perfect to me.
