I’m passing on the following feedback for the team behind the “Concur” app.
“Let me describe a few of the problems you have with this app. First of all why is it so slow? Second of all once I add a receipt, why do I additionally have to tick a box saying that the receipt status is “receipt added”? Third of all why are there hundreds of obstacles between me uploading my expenses and me categorising these expenses? Fourth of all, why is it that once I add details of business purpose, if I submit this too quickly, the app loses the data and I simply have to write out the business purpose again? Fifth, why on earth do you encourage me to skew and crop an image of the receipt after I’ve taken it with the default option being to massively skew the image? Sixth, when I try to attach a receipt photograph why do you list my photos in chronological order from my library? So that every time I want to attach a photo of receipt I need to scroll down from 2002 through approximately 50,000 images, to get to my most recently taken photos? Seventh, why is the default view when I try to select from a series of near identical Uber receipt screen captures to add to my receipts so small as to render it nearly impossible to discern the trip value and thereby identify the correct receipt to attach to a given expense line item? Eighth, why am I devoting four hours per month to the very slow, tedious and manual process of logging my receipts and expenses for your incredibly slow and difficult-to-use app, in which most of the time I am waiting for the app to respond to me rather than actually doing any tasks?”
