Riddle Stones - Cross Numbers

I will start with the good things: You get lots of games for free to start with, increasing in difficulty without being bombarded with too many ads, you get the odd one but nothing like most games. The negative: Some puzzles are so ambiguous that even with the 1 mistake the heart effectively gives you they are still impossible to solve without guesswork or buying the power ups. On the main quest you have to use gems once you get to level 46 which is fair enough but why not be straightforward about it and say it's x amount to buy 50 levels? You get so many free gems so I've not got to the point where you have to pay yet but will update my review when I do.

Can't understand why so many people are having issues with losing lives etc. I'm up to level 60 and haven't had to use gems or whatever yet because the answers are all there, you just have to use some grey matter to figure things out. There are some levels where you get to the end and if can be an either/or scenario, and as I've managed to guess right every time I can only assume that either way will be correct. The only minor criticism is that the shaded squares sometimes blend in with the rest too well causing you to lose out, but you just start again and you can be back to three stars. The advert I saw shows the ability to add x's into the grid. I haven't come across this yet (maybe it's in a later level) but it's really quite refreshing to complete these levels without being able to use them and use your noggin to work things out

I really enjoyed playing this game until I'd completed the first 3 zones in each of the guests (legendary and normal) and to progress was required to get keys and unlock further rounds, the only way to get keys was either to buy them or pester friends with game notifications. Personally I find game requests off facebook friends rather irritating and didn't want to be that person for others so sadly I could no longer play the game. This is a feature I would strongly urge the creators to change as the same itself is very good and I would continue to play.

Well to begin with I thought this game was good but, now I find it totally ridiculous that your lives are lost too quick . I had one life left and made two mistakes (I want to mention that half the time you have to guess where to blank out your squares) and the heart just went to zero. This is way too fast and now have to wait once again for nearly half an hour to get another life which will probably be lost once again quickly. I started out with 150% on a 15 x 15 grid, made two mistakes and, zap back to 0% and life lost. Why is the % going in two mistakes on a large grid. This game wants updating to allow you to play a little longer before losing everything or you will find people getting fed up and deleting it, as will I.

I genuinely love this game - when the levels can be figured out. As the difficulty increases, the only way to fill in the blanks is to literally guess. If you’re wrong, you lose a bunch of health and have no chance at scoring three stars unless you start from the beginning again. This is frustrating because you may have managed to “guess” your way through two levels, mess up on the third and have to start from scratch again. Real shame. Big emphasis on using in-game currency to purchase boosts/extra lives etc. I’d rather do a puzzle that doesn’t require random guessing and/or powerups to solve.
