Would you like all the critical information about a Regatta start and fixed mark course on your wrist? This phone and watch app provides select boat instrument features on your phone and wrist via a paired Apple Watch. Includes relevant activities before the start signal (set pin and committee boat locations to define start line, start countdown timer and sync to committee boat time.) Also includes ability to manage waypoints on the companion iPhone app (click on the map) and sync waypoints (marks) to the watch for "GoTo" navigation during the race. Active mark navigation includes a layline assistant to help determine when to tack and fine tune your course. The iPhone app supports all watch features, works without a watch, and also includes a map to visually track your race progress. This application is NOT intended to replace GPS or other key navigational functions and should not be relied on as the sole source of navigational information. This app relies on the underlying GPS software provided by Apple, and may need several seconds to "warm up" for the most accurate GPS readings.
