Reading Rewards

I have some questions. (1) I made an accounts for my son a parent account for myself yesterday (September 26). I tried to keep a log for my son, I chose the reading date “September 26” but the app said “You cannot log reading time from before you joined,” and couldn’t save a log. Today(September 27), I tried again, choosing both 26 or 27, but the same alart poped up and couldn’t save logs. (2) the app requires to fill review field, I cannot save a log with the field empty. —->>what I do is scan a book with the app and save it in library, then I go to the web browser to make a log. On the web browser, I can save logs by choosing the date September 26, and can save logs with the review field empty no problem...

Overall pretty happy with the ability to set up a tool for my son to log his reading time and for me to give some sort of rewards to him for accomplishing certain tasks. I problem is that his school also requires him to keep a written reading log and there isn’t a really simple way to share his progress with the teacher without a printout of each of the logs. I would probably give it a five star rating if it would allow teacher reading rights to family reading logs. It might be enough to convince schools to invest in something like this.

Update: quick response from app maker who accurately instructed me to log out of parent account and login as the child reader to record reading time. Thank you! ********* With the new update it's not obvious how I can log in my child's reading. In fact I can't find how to do that from phone and iPad apps. I have to go to the website to do this. Very cumbersome and annoying. Pls fix.

My son really enjoys this app, and it has certainly motivated him to read more. As a parent it would be nice if the app totaled the miles and minutes by day, week, month, year, and overall. Also, when I try to change from animals to numbers it doesn’t change in his profile.
