1.0This game will help children develop phonics skills that will help them to sound out words. The objective of the game is to put the letters in the correct order to spell a word. Tap the empty boxes to hear the sound of the letter block to be placed inside. Tap each letter block to hear the sound that the letter makes, then match the letter block to the empty box with the same sound. An animal will appear on top of the box if the correct letter block is put inside of it. Once all of the letters have been put into the correct boxes, the sounds will be blended together to form the word. Blending sounds is an important skill needed for reading words by sounding them out. The game gives children practice spelling and reading several common CVC(consonant-vowel-consonant) word families.
