Rate My Professors

This app is perfect in almost every way. The one thing I change is I would remove the 350 character limit. In fact I’d get rid of the limit altogether. Some people want details and many students are perfectly willing to take the time to divulge those details but we can’t. Will this open the opportunity for negative paragraphs? Probably, yes. But we should be allowed to do that because I want to know 1) why I should have one professor and 2) the reasons I should definitely NOT take some other professor.

This app has saved me from many instructors. It is very helpful when you are sure who to take. I wouldn’t give it 5 stars because they do change your comments. They ratings arent always 100% accurate because they do edit them. They have some from that don’t have any reviews since 2015 but i know people have reviewed them so that’s frustrating. I could also use a little more room for some comments. I would like to explain myself but I cant with such little room. I would also think a new feature should show how large the workload is. I have had 1 hour classes that took more time that a 4 hour class, it would be nice to be able to see this when you are making your schedule. The teacher might be awesome but if they pack on the work, I would like to know so I can adjust my schedule accordingly. I really like this app/website but there are some issues. Take the ratings with a grain of salt.

I cannot even log into the app. I’ve tried before, forgot I had, and re-downloaded it again with the same problem. I try to log in with my email and password and a loading circle shows up, loads for about an hour without actually doing anything. I try to log in with Facebook and an error message pops up, as well as when I try to log in with a google account. I have to go to the website to look at anything or even log in, and when I do I can’t edit my profile at all because it refuses to save no matter how many times I log out, refresh the page, or turn off my phone and turn it on. The problem is still the same. There isn’t even a tech support team to call, just an email system. Horrible app and website, as well as customer service and IT support

Rate my professor is one of the most useful and life saving apps for college students. It's easy design makes it easy for even the freshmen to find out what their professors are like before they actually take the class. And I say lifesaving because if it wasn't for rate my professor I would've been stuck with a professor that would've raised my stress levels even higher that what they become during the semester. Therefore I love this app.

Rate My Prof has saved me quite a bit of grief over time and comes highly recommended by me. My one complaint is that I take classes at both a university and a community college, and yet this app doesn’t just let me choose two schools. You choose one school to apply to your account so that whenever you use the search feature it automatically searches only profs at that university. Instead, I have to keep going to settings to find the other of the two schools I attend so that I can actually see it’s teachers. Not a biggy, but it could be simpler.
