How they have managed to take what was a perfectly good app and relaunch a piece of complete rubbish that doesn’t work is beyond me. The new app keeps closing every time I open it. I have deleted and reinstalled several times now. And so many people have commented on the issues and poor quality of the new app but doesn’t seem to be heard or any action taken. Pretty concerning for a bank. I was all set to transfer all my saving to Rabobank but as a result of this ongoing issue I think I’m going to have to find another bank unfortunately. I can’t even get in to see my account balance! I would be asking some serious questions of the developers!

App wouldn’t load past putting in CRN and digipass number. Online banking is also down so now it’s impossible to access account. I also received no communication regarding customers needing to switch to the new app, the old app just said that it was temporarily inaccessible because development was being done. It seems like the process of merging Rabodirect with Rabobank was rolled out before everything was properly developed and fully tested. - Update (6 August 2019): App is now functional and all the features have worked well so far. I think things got ironed out only a day or two after the first review was posted, so perhaps the developers were rushed into releasing the app before it was ready.

Where to start....when you moved us from a perfectly working app to this inferior app??? I’d sack the person in charge of the program development along with the developers. ALL of them incompetent for designing AND releasing an app plagued with bugs. Then once having used this app for a few months having to delete and reinstall it due to the PIN not being accepted!!! Then once we overcome that hurdle the app constantly crashes when trying to transfer funds. Never seen such an incompetent bunch of developers. And this from a bank!!!! I’ve been with Rabobank since 2007 but this now has me looking at moving my money elsewhere!!! If we can’t do our banking on the move today, what’s the point in sticking around? This has more to do with accessing Our money when we want to and not so much nowadays with interest rates where in a low interest rate economy the difference is marginal. If you can’t offer a app for us to access our money, time to move elsewhere!!!! Frustrating experience to say the least!!!

The team that developed and relaunched this app has much to learn. It is buggy and testing g leadership is clearly absent; otherwise there is so much the team would have picked up. Performance is appalling - lack of load testing. Wasted lots of time installing the app on different phones; didn’t work on an iPhone X and then after an app update it mysteriously worked - inadequate installation testing. Rookie errors on instructions on how to change “linked account”. I can go on but I won’t. So much time already wasted. My optics on Rabobank is so bad after this app changeover that despite it being a leading bank in Europe I see the bank as a rookie in Australian banking - a diabolical disaster indeed.

After having probs with a previous version of this app when it was released and now having to delete it and then download new version, this seems just as bad. After downloading and setting up new log in with this version went in to check interest rates on an account and it provided no access to go back to previous screen or anywhere else (a complete dead end). Had to swipe to close it and then log back in. I like Rabo bank generally but it is not reassuring when you have problems accessing online banking with this app. Who is in charge of these app developments? Who is appraising their work??
