R.B.I. Baseball 19

This game is a lot of fun IF you put the time in to learn how it works which isn’t easy. You need to learn how to find the overall for the person and then individually go through everyone which begs for some form of easier way to view player overall so that you can make quick and easy adjustments and additions. The batting is a mix of awful and awesome. It feels realistic not pre decided like most games, but it’s nearly impossible to hit without 200% attention. You’re going to swing late for a while and not hit anything worth crap. Swing early, you’ll start figuring out the timing. My biggest problem is battery drain. This game is unplayable for that reason alone. Played two games, while charging my phone on the computer, dropped 28% battery. Went to the bathroom and changed my lineup and looked at free agents for 3-5 minutes and lost 16% battery life. This thing EATS battery and until that’s solved, it’s basically a frustrating battery draining simulator.

The hitting and pitching can be smoother but what I like about this game is the hitting miss more realistic. Batters can actually get bloop hits. They can hit balls down the line that will actually curve around the base into foul territory. Balls actually can go over outfielders heads. Fielding is a little better. You can actually throw away balls from the outfield when you throw it in allowing the runner to advance another base. The double plays are slower to turn which I think is better game play. Base running is a little better you can now move runners over from second to third on grounders to the right side. It's still hard to get a double on a ball hit down the line. It's still hard to score from second on a base hit but it is better. It's actually a little better going from first to third on a hit, the runner no longer pauses at second. The problem I have with base running is that it's hard for a runner to score from second on a base hit or the batter is limited to a single on a ball hit off the fence. I would like to see less line drives at the pitchers and maybe have runners move a little faster but it's better than the last version. I have played approximately twenty games and that is what I've noticed. I played on the hardest and my hitters are hitting over 390, so that's not realistic I would love to see it more now difficult to beat the computer in season mode.

This game is a lot of fun but it has too many glitches. So much so that I thought something was wrong with the upload or my phone. From not being to see true league leaders versus by position leaders? What is that? While playing in season mode, I’ve noticed that every team in the league has played twice as many games already. How is that possible? Statically, and realistically, players who should be able to hit homeruns can barely hit them out of the park while you have other players who have little to nothing power smacking them all over the place. Pitchers who are amazing in real life should be able to strike out the lower part of the order instead giving up big hits and homeruns. What is going on with the outfielders making the play of the year for every fly ball or potential doubles and triples? Too many glitches and takes the fun out of playing the game. Wish these things can be addressed since it seems like I’m not the only one feeling it. Update, fix and repair...please!!!

This is a very well made game, the graphics are amazing for a mobile game but it seems like they put to much time into the graphics than stuff to do. You only have the option of playing a quick game, franchise, or post season, now I know this is a mobile game but I feel they could have put like a Road To The Show type game mode like in MLB The Show games. There also isn’t much to do in the actual games you play, with hitting you have just select a bunt or swing and than press a button and swing, and don’t think you’ll be hitting hone runs right away, timing is so hard in this. Fielding isn’t much better, if you set your outfield controls to manual, unless you’re a god you miss 70% of the fly balls because it is impossible to track where they land, and in infield it auto fields ground balls and all you do is select a place to throw. Great game for mobile, just think they could have added some more stuff.

This is the best simulated baseball game there is in the mobile market. There is no other game that will give you real life replicas of the MLB stadiums, real looking players and up to date stats on teams, players and rosters. There is no other game that compares. And I am very excited to say that. — HOWEVER, this game pulls A LOT of RAM on the phone. Causing it to overheat to the point where the screen has to dim to 50% brightness to keep it cool. I have yet to play a playoff game because the game freezes at the beginning of the post season, and I’ve made it a few times to receive the same outcome which is frustrating. And there are bugs on the game that can be fixed. This is an excellent game, I just wish it was more friendlier to my battery life, the RAM and getting rid of the bugs. I hope for RBI 20 you fix these issues and hopefully include online play. That would make this game unlike any other. Thanks guys!
