The official METRO Q Ticketing app allows you to purchase: • Single ride tickets for local bus and rail • METRO day pass for local bus and rail • Park & Ride tickets (full fare only) You can make purchases with a credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay. Tickets are then available for immediate activation and use. COMMON QUESTIONS: Q: Do I need to be connected to the internet? A: Ticket purchases require a cellular network or wireless connection. However, you can activate and use tickets offline. Q: How quickly are ticket purchases processed? A: Once the payment is authorised, your purchase is processed immediately and your ticket is then available for immediate activation. Q: Can I purchase multiple fares at the same time? A: You can purchase and activate multiple tickets for multiple passengers. Up to 30 tickets may be purchased at one time. You can purchase up to $50 in tickets per day. Q: How long are tickets valid? A: Individual bus or rail tickets can be saved and used for up to 2 years from the original purchase date. Q: How can I plan a trip? A: The METRO Q Ticketing app contains a link to our METRO TRIP app which provides routes, schedules and real-time arrival information so you can quickly and easily plan your trip. Q: What if my battery dies? A: You must be able to show an activated ticket to either a bus operator (prior to boarding a bus) or a fare inspector (prior to boarding METRORail).
