Pushup Hero

This works for me and is the only app I could find that worked. I want to keep track of 100 push-ups per day. I don’t need coaching just want to enter those various sets of 20 as I do then throughout the day and this app does that. It could use some more polish, some customizations, maybe mute the sound effects but it gets the job done.

Update; it was down after an Apple update but it’s back! What I discovered while it was down. THERE ARE NO SUBSTITUTES. This is the only app of its kind. I wanted to do a 100 pushups in 100 days challenge. Nothing else out there tracks a challenge that way. Just how many you can do in a single go. With this app you can do smaller 25, 35, 25, 15 for 100 in a day. Easy to track. Again, no other app helps you track a 100 in 100 goal like this one. I like this app and wish there were more like it. No adware. It’s just someone made a simple app and put it up for free. It’s great. It has shortcuts. Helpful little tic sounds. It’s a simple interface and free.

The app works well. I like the functionality but some things don’t make sense and that prevents it from being great. When I add text the keyboard covers the Save button. I can add 0 as an entry and save it and I can’t delete those 0 entries that I accidentally entered trying to figure out how to hit save. Hopefully these small things will get worked out.

Love the idea. Very simple to use, would just like the ability to swipe left or something to be able to delete a incorrect log.

All the other apps are time based but I just wanted an app that tracks my pushups and this app is exactly that. I love it that it tracks by week and year. I kinda wish there was a daily option as well but I’ll take what it offers happily!
