Pure Sudoku: The Logic Game

I appreciate the clean, sleek interface so much! Lots of puzzles to work. Good range of difficulty. Completing against my own scores is nice. I like the ranking my play against others too. Please keep this app simple and clean. I will not update versions if undesirable features pop up. Took me 2 weeks to decide to update in case things changed too much. This is my favorite app! Thank you!

Like other reviewers, I absolutely love this app. I don’t really play games on my phone, but this app gets a lot of my attention. It’s thoughtfully designed, the puzzles are the right level of challenging, and the interface is clean and easy. The newest update is driving me crazy though! The pulsing dark shading on the square you’ve selected makes it very difficult to see any notes you’ve made and removing the horizontal and vertical highlighting is now less intuitive. Also, it used to subtly shade all other numbers on the board that correspond with the number you’ve selected (select 4, all 4s on the board are shaded). This is no longer here, either. Super frustrating! At the very least, give us the ability to toggle these settings on or off so we can customize the experience. I just stopped halfway through a game in frustration so I could write this review and it’s the first app review I’ve ever written! 5-star app all the way, but I’m taking one star off because of these changes.

I really like that it’s so clean — just Sudoku. Unlike other reviewers, I wouldn’t like more bells and whistles — except as options I’d personally decline. Two issues I’d note: I’d prefer some indication each time of where I stood. I assume that sometimes my times are too slow to be included in average (although wonder about this when I have Masters games <12 minutes). But in any case, would prefer to know — something like: ‘the average time x people completed this game was y’ When you discard a puzzle for whatever reason, that puzzle comes up again in the the next few. But these are very minor issues in a wonderful game I spend entirely too much time playing.

I love your app and play quite often on both my iPhone and iPad. During the many opening and closing of the program, as well as moving from device to device, I wonder what level game I my have open so I could continue that same game. I would very much appreciate if you could program in some sort of indicator to show a current open game. Than you Corky

Great game, however, the lack of landscape mode on iPad means I have to hold the iPad in portrait mode with both hands to play. This becomes uncomfortable after a while. I prefer being able to use the iPad with its Smart Cover case on a side table (or plane meal table) and play without supporting the iPad on my hands. Any chance we’ll get a landscape mode any time soon?
