Pure Gas

I drive a 1984 VW vanagon and found that gas with ethanol in it made my car stutter and even die on the freeway. When I put 91 octane ethanol-free gas in it, it ran fine. I used this app all across the country to find the gas I needed. I wish there were more stations because sometimes I couldn’t find one near me. The only recommendation I have for a future update is when in the Map view, when I click on a station, I’d like to know what octane they are selling. Now I have to leave the Map view and scroll through the list to find the info I need and then enact Google map to get there. Small problem but would be helpful. Thank you guys so much for making this app!!!

I downloaded this app some time ago but I have “no” app icon to open??? Now I have to go to the “App Store”, search in order to find the app it says I have, then I have the option to open??? NOT HAPPY 😤😡!!! My only complaint is that this app doesn’t post prices like “GasBuddy”. Other than that it works well.

Idk why this app is so highly rated. It’s garbage. Literally all you can do is as see a list of gas stations. Some useful features would be allow users to post gas prices, post the grades of fuel that no ethical fuel is available. My car only takes 93 octane and I prefer 100% gas, no ethanol. Makes the app useless without that knowledge unless I just want to drive to every gas station and look myself. The app has their phone number listed but no way to click it to call. You have to write it down like this is the 1800s. You click the name of the gas station the only thing that happens is it opens Waze gps app. Can’t even click the phone number of the station and ask their fuel grade flavors. They must pay google to spam advertise for them Bc when you google “apps for 100% gas”it almost exclusively says pure gas. But this app is very lacking.

The list is probably right (it is for my area), but it includes stations that require a certain membership card. There’s no way to filter these listings out. I’ve already made a list I found online and cut most of those out. Also, I recommend calling ahead to verify, if possible. When you do, ask if they use blender pumps. Blenders can put as much as a quart of ethanol-based gas in your tank. Not good if you have an older motorcycle.

Works well. My only complaint is when in map mode and you click the info button for the gas station it ask me to open maps and to navigate. It would be nice to click on it and bring up the info about the gas station instead of driving directions only.
