After using the app for a while, it seems that the app is pretty basic but works ok. The problem is their server. At one point, I couldn’t get cycle data for one day now. I tried to refresh it many times but get nothing. Then I found they update the status of their server in their Twitter. So you may get some clues if the app don’t refresh. If they can make their server more reliable i am willing to pay a small amount of monitoring fee. Or at least the app should provide warnings if the server is down. On the other hand, The hardware works fine and their email customer support seems to be prompt, at least for my case.

We’ve just experienced incredible flooding. I’ve had 2 PumpSpy for almost a year. In general they provide really valuable information about what’s happening in my basement. However, during this recent massive rain the system must be too overloaded to send data from my units, it just never loads cycle history. Without recent data they are nearly useless. They’re not inexpensive ~$150/ea.... I’m really disappointed...

This App and product is amazing. We must be on a high water table, because our sump pump needs to cycle very often. If it were to malfunction we would be in trouble pretty quickly. I absolutely love the data it provides and the huge range of alert options. It is really a necessity for anybody with a sump pump. Added a water powered back up pump to make my system as fail safe as I can, but with the constant monitoring from this product helps me sleep at night or be able to check in when away for a weekend.

Lately history (Cycle and Alert) is loading very slowly, not loading, or crashing app (both iPhone and iPad). Please fix.

Slow servers or bad app design, either way it takes forever to download data on pump cycles. been years and still waiting for ability to download data. Seems like minimal app support.
