Pray for the Persecuted

I was so sad a while go when I saw in the news that 350 Indians died from a flood . My first thought was .are they believers .. many aren’t my heart was broken because they were unsaved and I just pray for those in the countries and places where the gospel is barely heard . So having people believe even when they are persecuted is amazing . Let’s pray for them ! I’m glad this app shows me ,wakes me up and encourages me to pray for others ! ❤️ let’s pray for the ones that are being beaten or going to jail for Believing ! Thank you for this app !

I love the idea and keeping up on the prayer requests, but the app on my iPad only shows the scrolling text in about 2 lines in large font (and the heading stays in place in gigantic font), so it’s difficult to read. Also, the badge app icon does not work. So I don’t see a number by the app when a new request comes in. I have all alerts and banners set and a banner will flash and go away when a request comes in, but if I’m not there to see it, I don’t know there is anything new unless I check. Making the app more user friendly would really help, because I love the idea of instantly being made aware when there is a prayer need.

Particularly through notifications, the app keeps our persecuted family a regular part of our life. It may be one notification that gets me into the app, but once there, I may stay for awhile and pray through numerous needs. Thank you, Open Doors.

Really great app that lets you see the most recent AND urgent prayer news and requests. You can scroll through and pray over the ones only you want to. Then can hit the button indicating you prayed. You can also share the prayer on social media. Very easy and quick to use! You can even get prayer alerts.

Pray For The Persecuted provides random reminders throughout my week to pray. Often unexpected and admittedly often heart-breaking, their reminders to pray help me to keep my focus on what’s really important - especially when life gets distracting.
