Practice QTS Skills Test

I attempted these first before doing the practice government tests. I found it really helpful in increasing my speed and confidence for the mental arithmetic part of the test. Then when it came the practice tests, I was passing these with ease. Definitely worth spending the money on these tests. I passed first time.

As someone who's always been far more competent with words than numbers I knew I would definitely need to brush up on that GCSE maths! The online platform learndirect provide is great! But with only one interactive test available my improvement came with remembering the answers of the same test over and over again - rather than challenging myself!! This app is FANTASTIC!! 5 different tests to choose from! No way would you ever remember those especially if you mix up the test you do each time! My speed in the metal section improved ten fold as this app simulates the real tests! In the actual test itself those 18 seconds after hearing the question twice seemed to drag! DEFINITELY download, DEFINITELY buy the extra tests + DEFINITELY have 110% confidence that this app will get you to the required pass standard!! On the actual day, the questions are way easier! Not so many of those nasty pie chart, decimal, fraction questions! If you can pass with these, be confident you will pass on the day!

Good but some words aren’t clear. Defiantly asks for laboratories rather then laboratory during the spelling test.

this app has been an absolute lifesaver! i haven't used the literacy tests since i've already passed it, but the numeracy tests are great. the ones on the dofe website are good, but i can only do them so many times, so its great to have these as well. the questions match up well to the 'official' practice tests so i feel well-prepared for my test tomorrow. the only thing i would say is that the timings are a bit off compared to the real thing (e.g. it says you have 18 seconds after the second reading of the question, but if the question is really short you barely have any time at all even if it's difficult). also the pronunciation of some words throws me off a bit, like 'maths' is pronounced 'marths', and there are a few incorrect answers listed as correct, but only by things like one decimal place. besides those minor things, this app is amazing and it's definitely worth spending a little to buy all the tests!

Downloaded the app, completed the first test which had good questions on it, but then purchased a second test for £3.99 for the money to go out of my account, but then the app to not even open. I rang their customer service team, left a message and they still haven’t got back to me. I emailed TWICE saying I wanted my money back and I have had no response. This was over a week ago now. Really unprofessional and such a waste of money. I feel like I have been conned out of my money. DO NOT BUY. Use the FREE government tests instead which are much more realistic and use the same format as the actual tests.
