Pool Time ClearPool Expert™

So far I've had a great experience with this app. We've had our pool for a couple months now in NW FL and have had some trouble keeping chemical levels in check and the water clear. We've used test strips weekly and taken multiple water samples to the local pool store, normally leaving with a $50-$75 truck of chemicals to add. This app has helped us better control our chemical levels by eliminating a lot of the guess work and has helped us diagnose problems without having to take water samples in. Definitely not the be-all-end-all, but a good start if you're new to pool maintenance or just need some help.

First time pool owner, got the pool with the house, it was literally a swamp fill of frogs and muck. Been using pool time test strips and chemicals all summer and my pool has been clear with just the right amount of chemicals to keep it sanitized and not so much that it damaged our swim suits or burned our eyes and skin. When I need chemicals I just cut through the garden center at Home Depot, get what I need and nobody tries to seek me anything I don’t want or need. Well I did buy the thermometer that looks like a shark with sunglasses because it was cool. We named him Tempeshark.

I am trying to go to the "test my water" portion of the app. I click on the link and it ask me to log in again. I log in with my info and it want let me in. I have reset my password several times and still can't access that portion of the site. Tried to email the support portion of the app but got error there also. (Email kicked back)

I use this app in conjunction with Pool Time products bought at Home Depot. My only issue with it is regardless of the levels, it ALWAYS recommends that I add shock along with adding a few other products. Before I caught onto it, I was following the recommendations to a T and managed to screw up the balance big time. Now I watch the levels and use my judgement rather than their recommendations.

I think this app is a rip off ... i have used it for a year ... spend probably around 1,000$ on chemicals like it recommended . and my pool was never right . so i just stopped using it and took my water sample to a local pool store . they tested it . told me what i needed and followed there steps . my pool has been crystal clear and all levels just close to perfect since . and spend about half the money . those strips you buy ... are never accurate and hard to read .. dont waste your time .. go to a local pool store with your water sample where they will tell you exactly the levels for free !
