POI MAP-private MAP of Places

POI MAP - is a 100% private local database for storing your GPS positions and places of personal interest worldwide (your private poibase). We use the GPS information of your phone or tablet in a fast and efficient way to generate a MAP of your POI. Places, caches, points of interest, ... where you have been - save them all. Add the interesting places of your journey to a personal database. Rate your POI (Personal Point of Interest) and add pictures, notes, #tags, your own categories and more. Find the sights around you on a personal map / satellite view or in the list view. Your places around are shown automatically. Use the incredibly fast full text search to find any of your POIs again. Each entry is time-stamped with the creation/modification date to show at a glance how up-to-date the information is. Almost anything can be done with the free version. The PRO version can do a few things more. Give it a try! Privacy is important for us. Every information is stored only on your phone. We don't know your data. It is completely private! To add new POI you can use the list of interesting locations around you, an integrated search function for specific POIs, the MAP APP of your device, the GPX location direct or your pictures and their GPX informations. Driver of our development is the privacy - we store all information locally on your mobile. No server connection. ## Save POI is that easy ! Bookmark any location in seconds. If additional information exists via internet, we add it (web site, opening hours, telephone number,...). Put images to your POI to recognise the location easily later on. You can use the search function in "+" to find specific public known POIs anywhere and save it as your private POI with additional information. Find a location in Apple Maps and share it with POI MAP. We automatically create a location and complete it. Take a picture and share it with POI MAP. We generate a place based on the GPS information of the image. ## List + MAP - Favourite - overview We have organised the database so that you can see your POIs on a map, satellite view or list of POIs. Search your entries by name, category, individual #Tag, ... in one of the screens and switch without losing the search result. ## Navigate or book a ride Use the entries in your database to navigate via map or use the coordinates to directly book a ride with UBER or Lyft (if available on your location). ## Share your places If you want to meet with friends or family, send them a POI via sharing functionality.
