To start off you need to put in your number, enter your email, rate your current landlord, how much you’re currently paying for rent, and your current address. To make it even worse, they think it is ok to ask if you can take picture of your current home. They do this so that they can get a “bEtTER uNDerStanDiNg” of your current life style.
Do not let the adds on Instagram fool you. The listings on this app are not official listings. You’ll find one you’ll like and it will most likely be a SINGLE screen shot of the add from another listing site. TRASH just TRASH.

We’re sorry you had a bad experience, or that your expectations weren’t met. PocketList is a network of renters that give each other first look at the place they’re about to leave to unlock everyone else’s version of that information. We think that being able to find out first when a new place goes on the market, before the “official listings” is very powerful, and there are renters that have signed leases on places they’ve found on PocketList *before* they hit the open market. E.g. those places never go on the open market.
We hear your feedback and think the takeaway isn’t that the app is “trash,” but that you thought one thing based on an ad, and experienced something different. We’ll take a fresh look at our social media and make sure we’re communicating PocketList’s unique value as best we can.
PocketList is really different from the “old way” of doing things. We’re proud of that.
