Pitchlife Football

Pitchlife is a free-to-play mobile game aimed at football supporters. It allows game-players to collect football players from throughout the history of the club, build teams, and go head-to-head against other game-players through short matches. A unique aspect of Pitchlife is the ability to access players from all decades, drawing on and increasing game-players’ knowledge of their club, rewarding game-players who have good knowledge, and generating plenty of debate. Pitchlife is a Collectable Card Game (CCG), with each of the cards featuring a player and providing statistics and other information about him. As with all CCGs, the concept is to collect and build the best possible deck (the team the game-player builds) through collecting player cards. Progress in the game is driven by winning matches against similar level players. As matches are won, new cards are made available, allowing the game-player to build better teams, increase their level, compete against increasingly tougher competition, and discover more about their club’s story. Boost cards, substitutions and changing team formations allow the player to influence the play, and there are various rewards available. And within the card collecting element, there are series of Magic Moments cards which feature great stories from the club’s history.
