Pit Boss Grilling

Bought the grill and 3 months later they made the warranty 5 years! If I would have known that I definitely would have waited! I've already had 2 warranty repairs on it this last one is with a week before the warranty expired or if be left footing the bill on my second circuit board.. I just now downloaded the app so reading all these reviews doesn't give me much confidence.. Guess we'll see..

I don’t have a Bluetooth enabled grill. As a result I’m stuck on the “add device” screen. Apparently I can no longer access any part of the app if I don’t connect a grill that I do not possess. This is a feature that should have been made optional, not a requirement.

I bought a PB grill about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it! However, it’s nearly impossible to use the app. This is the first pellet grill I’ve owned, so naturally I have a lot of questions on how to use it most effectively/efficiently. Unfortunately, every bit of information I’ve obtained (including recipes) has come from the Traeger website that I’ve been forced to use. I have literally spent hours at a time trying to access something as simple as “how to smoke ribs on a Pit Boss” because the app is so unbelievably non-user friendly. On the rare occasion that the app is working “properly” it is not easy to navigate whatsoever. Each time I sit down to find a recipe my family lets out a simultaneous moan because they know it will end in frustration and they will more than likely go to bed hungry!
