Pet insurance has to be the worse scam honestly. They don’t help you solve issues and they just say we understand if you have to check other insurances once you spent so much money with them. This app shows how lazy this group is because pretty much this is the type of service you get all around and its barely 2 stars so people were nice here compared to what you actually receive after 2 yrs+ of being with them. Time to switch to a team that cares for our animals like Healthy Paws. I gave them so many chances to make this right and never hear back from them. I never seen any company neglect customers like this. Seriously we made this company what it is today and you would think they would care.. Na just auto pay on your credit card is all they care about after that you’re on your own.

This app is basically useless. Whenever I try to submit a claim, it just says "error" and gives me the option to try again, it fails. I submitted the bug in January 2018, and the support team just told me to log out, uninstall the app, reinstall, and log back in. That didn't fix it. I decided to give the app another try (now September 2019) because I'm having issues logging into their mobile did, and I got the same error again! The app was one of the best things about Petplan while it worked. I'm going to delete it now since it's just a source of frustration.

The app makes it so easy to upload claims and check on their progress. It is a much faster process than scanning and emailing documents or having to fill out forms. One of my dogs has an ongoing medical condition and, once the initial claim was approved, it has been simple to upload additional invoices to the same claim and have them paid quickly. When I submit a large amount of documents at once it can take a little while to complete the upload but otherwise the app is perfect.

Yeah the steps to filing a claim on this app is simple, but the app is constantly kicking you off and you having to restart all over. So once you’re lucky enough to make it to the end... I have yet to receive my reimbursement from PetPlan and it’s been over 2 weeks. Haven’t even heard a word from them. When I check the status of my claim, it just keeps saying “open” and that someone will contact me if needed to. If you’re looking for pet insurance, I recommend to keep looking elsewhere.

If you’d like to have your insurance level permanently downgraded without your authorization for both of your pets, and experience unexplainable lengthy claims reimbursement where Petplan closes cases if the veterinary office asked too long to respond these are your guys. Fake concern for my pets carries no weight. Actions speak louder than words, and your actions are gross and money driven.
