I didn’t want to get this game as I have, for years, chosen not to support anything by Crescent Moon Games since they had, FOR YEARS, made money off of the game Gears (by Crescent Moon) knowing it had a bug (RoM-L9) and was unplayable. However, they (Josh Pressenius and Corey Redlien)finally did the right thing and that game now works again. So, I am now again considering, and in this case moving forward, with games offered by Crescent Moon. Josh, how much money did you make ripping people off?
UPDATE: Josh, simply put, you sold a game (Gears) for YEARS knowing it did not work. You knew it had a bug and was unplayable. (Otherwise, why would you have, admittedly, tried reaching out to Redlien?) You (your company) profited off of those who unwittingly bought the game. Caveat emptor.

Hi there,
Really sorry to hear that you feel this way. Unfortunately the situation with Gears was that the developer of the game disappeared off the face of the planet. Many people loved the game, so I chose to keep the game on the store even though there was a reported bug. When the opportunity came that I could resurrect the game sans the bug, I rereleased it (on the GameClub service). I still to this day have not heard from the original developer of the game. Anyone who originally bought Gears is able to play it without the bug, and many people have enjoyed it and written me over the years about how much they love it.
As for Path to Mnemosyne, I hope you aren't experiencing any issues with it, it's always hard to release a game that is completely bug free as you may know, but I hope the 1 star review isn't related to PTM and just a beef with me, I understand, and I'm sorry about that.
Very sorry to hear that you think ill of Crescent Moon. I'm always happy to give refunds for any customers that aren't satisfied, so please email if you have any problems.
Kind regards,
Josh
