Paint by number for adults

Another addition- I enjoy this app a lot, however I’m still disappointed that the puzzles that are in the subscription once had up to 400 or more pieces. They are now going back to the larger pieces again. The ones that were subscribed prior to now were smaller pieces, more enjoyable and took a while to finish. Now the landscapes have very large pieces and are mostly made up of sky. At one time there were buildings and trees, people and plants. Please go back to those. Thanks for the app but it was more enjoyable with smaller puzzle pieces. This was my prior review- I want to add that the puzzles have become like the large piece kindergarten puzzles. If they are going to continue in this Manner I would like to find out. If so is there a way to keep the older ones without paying a subscription? I really enjoyed the smaller pieces but the newest ones are boring. Not sure if these are being read by the creators or not. I had rated this with 5 stars as the paid puzzles were small pieces and took a while to complete. I have called this my Zen App as I can take relaxation time and do these puzzles. I’m quite disappointed that now, even with the paid puzzles the pieces are now large. The landscape & portrait puzzles were at one time much smaller. I will probably cancel the paid ones once again as this is the change that keeps me from enjoying this app and rating it down a star.

This app actually has free puzzles u can complete and doesn’t force you to buy a ridiculously priced subscription to test it and enjoy it. There are several free puzzles that function exactly as I imagine the paid puzzles work. They also seem to add puzzles to both the free and paid versions every day or week. I love it. You can do the puzzles as a color by number or as an actual puzzle. I love jigsaw puzzles but screen real estate inherently limits how well any traditional jigsaw puzzle can be displayed and worked. This provides a work around in that (almost) all the shapes are unique, so you can match pieces without having to have first filled in all the nearby pieces. Therefore you can work from a smaller total number of pieces visible at once! It really is great and a relaxing way to unwind free from the anxiety we all seem to be facing these days:) I will be buying a subscription because I believe this is a great app and am comfortable paying for the hours of enjoyment I have gotten from the free puzzles, not because I have even run out of free puzzles or because the free ones are inferior. I recommend it!

I am in love with this game I have the monthly subscription, the only thing that frustrates me some is having to scroll all the way back through all the pictures to find the one you saw the other day that you wanted to do. I think in your next update you should categorize all the picture such as animals, builds, landscape, etc. however you choose to categorize it but you should also have a search bar so for example if I wanted to do a dog picture I could just type the word dog and all the ones you have with dogs in it would pop up so I don’t have to spend so much time looking through to find all the dog ones and then figuring out which it is I’d like to do. Other than that minor thing I’m obsessed with this game I think I do at least 7 pictures in a day I can’t wait until the other one comes out I already have it preordered!!!

This app is a lot of fun when I don’t feel like putting in the effort to actually color. Searching for a shape identified by a number is an entertaining brain exercise. It is a good alternative to crunching numbers and developing text. It relaxes my stressed-out brain by gently exercising a different part of it. Now, quite a few months later, my life stress has been lots more severe, and I find I am using this game to shut my mind down for blocks of time, and just hide out. Some situations which are genuinely beyond my control, and it a waste of my time and energy to discover new ways to be aggravated, so I’m returning to the enjoyment of shape and number identification, and I expect that soon I will be tracking progress and developing text once again. Oh tes, a despite a severe slump in finances, I am signing up for a year of Color by Number this evening.

I actually enjoy doing this color by number. There are a lot of pictures you get when you first DL the app. Unfortunately, once you color all of those you only get one to two free ones a day. Now I don’t mind paying for apps I like but this one is a bit too high priced for me. Again, the app is nice but there is no way I’m going to pay a WEEKLY fee of $6 just to get more pictures to color in. Honestly, asking for $6 to unlock everything for life would be asking too much for this app. Thank you for what you’ve provided but your cost for an app like this is WAY over priced and that is my reason for the two stars. Update: the developers continue to let you know it’s about the money. In their latest money grab with the latest update, they have locked out even more pictures. This app is not worth the cost. $6 a week (up to $24-$30 a month if you pay weekly), or $9 a month ($108 a year if you pay monthly) or $40 a year. $40 a year???? That is insane for a drag and drop color by number app.
