Let’s see I’ve been paying for service since August 2019 February it begin to mess up my family couldn’t use the service for the entire month of February so I called customer service and they told me to bring in my equipment maybe mines needed to be updated whatever that meant so I did I spent $40 in travels just to get there and be told I have to clear my bill completely before they hand over the new equipment so I did which was only $108 REALLY! ok so I take it home and what do you know they equipment doesn’t work they gave me a faulty router so I still couldn’t use the service so time goes on I continue to call for weeks and never could speak to anyone finally after two months of paying for service that I never could use I get through to someone and by a miracle they sent a technician out he fixed everything and just five days later here we go again. I wanna remove this service from my home completely they are the worst and the bad part is I cannot change companies because no other company services my area how about that so unless I pack up my whole family give up my house I’ve been living in for 40 years I’ll forever be stuck with this horrible service that I continue to pay for now they want $300 I’m not paying that where is my 2month credit for no service use.

When do you think about it, what is the main reason for having an app like this? To check when the tech is coming? Most services use text or email. To visit an optimum store? Before downloading, who even knew there was one? The reason you get this app is to pay your bill. Just like you don’t download the Verizon app to buy a new phone, who does that? You get apps like this to open, pay your bill, quick and easy, and rock on (like Verizon). In doing this, the Optimum app consistently fails. I have had it on my phone for a while now, hoping someone will fix it, but no. First off, it can't support Face ID so you’re always signing back in. Then when I go to the billing section it always shows the balance at 0 and says ‘service unavailable at this time’. It’s never changed. If you even try to make a payment it won’t go through. In the beginning I was late with a payment til I caught on. So yeah, frustrating and not worth it. Pass.

I cannot verbalize how much I hate this company. Why can’t anything be done right?? I shouldn’t be disappointed because I’ve never had a good experience with them, but I saw an easier way to pay my bill by using the app so I got it. I have had this app for mOnths and have not yet been able to use it because there is always an error with the bill pay method. 🤔 They’ve messed up my bill on the website by having the whole site down for days and that’s why I thought the app would help... no, that doesn’t work either. My internet is slow and goes in and out at any given moment, bill keeps going up every year even though NOTHING has changed, app doesn’t EVER work, customer service is a joke... I hate optimum and can’t wait to switch to something entirely different. How can you have a company running that has so many issues?? Fix this!!! 😡😡😤

I don’t know what happened to Optimum, they used to have good customer service. These days however, it seems that everything went down hill. 1. You can’t reach them by phone, or email 2. their CHAT is horrible, it only works sometimes, and it takes a VERY long time to get someone to help you. And even when you finally get someone to help you, it takes them a long time and the worse part is, they have reboot the modem (or you lose connection before that), when internet comes back up you see they DISCONNECTED the CHAT. How upsetting is that? Moreover, They know you have an issue, (internet keeps going down - lots of lost packets) WHY don’t they call you back? They have your contact info. 3. The APP was build by an amateur, it almost never works and certainly can reach tech support or any other support from it...

It is truly mind boggling how bad Optimum is and how completely useless their customer service is. Most of the time when I log into this app to pay my bill the pay bill function doesn’t work which is a large part of why I have the app since when you try to open Optimum on a mobil server gig can’t get to any of the functions. One would think that with all of the option available for TV viewing Optimum would be a little more responsive and a little less cavalier about servicing their customers but clearly this is not the case! Every time I am forced to deal with them I end up with a massive headache and little to no satisfaction! I recommend to anyone considering Optimum that they find another option for their tv viewing. Because this is not it!
