First - this app is like an export of the Winchester VA website - the app doesn't really provide any new features that warrant it's download. The one thing they did do nice is mark the restaurants on a map so you can locate them easily while down town. Second - Nobody put any thought into features, functionality, simplicity, how people would use the app, and ignored basic design concepts. For instance - some of the restaurants are labeled red which is a natural warning sign so you aren't helping these local shops by labeling them red. Third - relying on red and green to convey information is not compliant with 508 standards and not good for accessibility (besides being bad for local business). Please stick to a color scheme and find a way to provide contrast in the design. Last - what is this message center? There is no explanation what it's used for and why you would need to send me messages. There's a lack of any information regarding this app, and nobody to contact (locally) to provide comments to.
