Oh Hell Gold

This was already my fave card game with just 1 complaint: trump was Hidden under bid screen at times (which I wrote you about). You promised a fix was underway in yr prompt reply & YOU DELIVERED! So often loyal users are put off with empty promises of "fixes in new versions to come" which rarely materialize, if they even get a reply at all. Can't tell you how great the update is along with helpful new details I noticed right away! It's great and I have already shared it with family members since we grew up on that game. Thanx for the clean interface in this QUALITY app which already had tons of customizable options. Love you guys!💛😈 ~~~~~~ PS came back w/ 1 suggestion: even when I have all opponents on the most difficult setting, at times Tina & Sarah are complete douches with ridiculous bids. ie, Sarah bidding just 1 or 2 when holding 4 trumps in a 5-card hand and Tina is more often than not a chronic over-bidder. With my 90%+ win stats I would appreciate more of a challenge from opponents on max difficulty settings. Cheers and thanks again!

Very good program for a great game. I wish it would have more options, however. For example, it would be nice to have the option to adjust the number of rounds, and to eliminate the rule that prevents the dealer from making a bid that allows all players to be correct.

Only wish there was some sort of chat so you could feel more like you were actually playing with humans. I do appreciate the simplicity of the game and the fact that ads are limited to unobtrusive banners at the top of the screen. I am editing my review. I still love and play the game but I purchased the game recently in hopes that it would offer more than free version. Still there are no instructions (that I can find), no chat, no help and you must daily affirm you will not give a poor review if the app goes down. I have sent sent emails to developer over questions I have but no response. The only benefit of purchase has been no ads but the ad banners were not bothering me.

Glad to find a free online version of Oh Hell and enjoy playing when there’s some downtime. Would like it better (1) if the board layout was less cluttered such that my cards and cards played were a bit larger; (2) If there was a mid-speed for play...slow is too slow and fast doesn’t allow enough time to see if other “players” made their trick bid or not; and, (3) that rules didn’t force trump to be played if you’re void in a played suit. Just suggested tweaks.

The game plays differently than I learned and I couldn’t find an option to play ‘my way’. Not a big deal. It is still fun to play. The biggest issue I have is that playing area is too big for my Xr iPhone. I can’t see the left person’s bids nor their score. I’m not sure what else I am missing.
