This app is horrible. Raleigh is full of designers and tech people and this is the best that we could come up with? The app experience is terrible and buggy. They want you type in your credit card information on what looks like a standard Google form with no indication of security or where that data is being sent. No integration with Apple Pay or other mobile payment services. Plus there are rarely bikes available and they’re usually not charged or dirty. Don’t waste your time, try Raleigh’s great public transportation system.

Trying to unlock majority of the bikes at a stand, produces an error. After 4 bikes finally got one that unlocked. If it’s low battery or some other issue, have that issue display, rather than keep saying “Bike unavailable “. Additionally, no confirm or anything after the trip finishes. Not sure if I’m still getting charged or what? It’s an ugly app. Look at the scooter apps and model after that. Way more user friendly.

I was impressed how well the app functioned — smooth, quick, and interactive. I recommend the app, even if you’re only going to ride for a few trips or a few days, as was my case while visiting Raleigh. Good sign of things to come for the Citrix Cycle system.

Some friends and I saw the Citrix Cycles and wanted to try them. In the App Store we were confused because there were two almost identical apps. Some friends were worried one was fake or a scam, so none of us ended up riding that day. Later I called customer service and found out that both work, but this is the version they want people to use. Hopefully they can consolidate the two versions soon.

This app is simple and easy to use to get riding on Citrix Cycle bikes. Can’t wait for them to fully launch the system!
