Octane | Car Meets and Cruises

Just opened the app, looks like it has a ton of potential. Small things are necessary however, like to be able to sort/filter the events by date especially, or by type. Really really need that to be an ability I don’t want to see events in 3 months, right now. Also a nice touch would be to have drop downs for selecting your car.. I mean just to make things easier. But other than that it seems to have some good features, really want to try it out fully soon.

Just started using this app. It’s very basic but shows a lot of promise. I’m an admin for a FRS/BRZ/86 club in the Washington DC region and am using it to supplement the meets we post on FB and will try its cruising feature soon. Creating events and showing they you’re attending them is neat, but there’s no way to filter events by date or area, you just look at the map on tap on the events to see when & where. Again, basic, but the concept is awesome so 5 stars and I want to continue to support the app.

The app itself is really easy to use and has a nice simple layout. I love the concept of being able to see car meets in your city, and even around the country almost like you’re in a video game. The only issue is it doesn’t seem like too many people use this app in my area yet, so there are a lot of car meets that are going on that don’t show up on the app. Other than that, I really like this app and the concept of it, hopefully it continues to grow.

I’m a big car enthusiast myself, and can see a lot of potential with this application. A great future feature would be to allow users to click on other drivers during the “quick drive” feature to be able to send them messages, friend requests, car information, etc.

Solid app. A few things. 1. Would be nice if we can add an option to limit your selection to a specific range. For example, maybe search meets within a 50 mile range. 2. The scroll feature is buggy. Doesn’t allow me to scroll all the way down. 3. There seems to be a defect in what happens when you leave the trim field blank. It tells me to please put in a year, but there should either be an option to leave it blank or throw the correct error. Also, if you don’t put anything it dents the year field to null. 4. Would be nice to have a calendar style section where we can see the list of meets by day. And therefore we can better plan for future meets and see anything in the upcoming meets. 5. Lastly, notifications! I love notifications and reminders.
