I have the NJTransit official app for buying tickets that includes live train schedules. A have two more apps with schedules. I can go to the NJTransit page and get them, so why this? This app is the fastest way to see what train (and which track) is coming. Plus, I can follow a train once it leaves the station. Perfect if I know a friend left New York on the 4:57 and I am picking them up from the train station. I can see if the train is on time (and make sure I’m at the station) or is delayed for the innumerable reasons trains get delayed (and not waste my time at the station).

Thanks for this convenient app. It would be great if i could reorder the entries on the main screen. Also, I’d like to be able to name the entries. For example, the entry for a specific train is named “train # 123”, I’d like to change to “NB 4:40 55 min” to indicate that it’s a train leaving from the NB station at 4:40 that takes 55 min to arrive at my destination. When you have many trains on the screen, it’s hard to remember which train is which train. Thanks!

I was using iTrans NJ Transit until it suddenly stopped working. I find this app works better and has an easier interface. And I like the fact it incorporates path as part of the app seamlessly.

Love the level of detail and that it doesn’t need a network connection (helpful at Penn Station!).

The info on the schedule is wrong for the midday LR service to Hoboken coming in from the north. The pickup times are inaccurate and the schedule doesn’t reflect the fact that you must transfer at Newport. Other than that this app is fantastic. Can’t wait to use it when updated and will certainly be back to give a 5 star rating.
