We're not looking to place blame or anything, but, you know. Butterfingers. Anyway. Apply Nebulizer to live audio input or connect with other music apps such as GarageBand, Auria and Cubasis via Inter-App Audio or Audiobus. Nebulizer supports Audiobus state saving, IAA transport controls, MIDI learn and iOS 9+ multitasking in both split screen and slide-over modes. Note that Nebulizer does *not* provide an Audio Unit extension. Porting the underlying tech to the AUv3 environment is sadly not practical. I know this is disappointing, but Nebulizer and its sibling apps are stuck in their historical moment; when IAA goes away, so will they. Perhaps something else will come along to take their place...
