The definitions are short and poorly worded. Some contain terms that need definition themselves. For 99 cents not terrible but not great.

This app is seriously incomplete. Half of the time I need to go to a normal dictionary to help with a definition -- and this when reading seafaring stories. The app is not worth 99 cents. It does not deliver commenserate value. Blow-off apps like this should not be accepted by Apple.

Nearly useless as a reference because so many terms and definitions are obsolete and have little relevance to modern usage. For example, the term "spars" is defined in this app as "pieces of trees as they are cut in the wood." That definition might help a 19th century sailor, but in the 21st century, spars are the mast and boom of a sailboat and are more likely to be made of aluminum.

Hard to imagine a dictionary that does such a poor job of defining terms. Not only that, too many standard terms are missing. I would not recommend bothering with this app
