Nail Polish Book

Not quite the full-service inventory tool I was looking for, but close enough to still be useful. You'll have to input everything manually, if you don't enjoy typing on your phone you will not enjoy this! My workaround is to sync my phone with my bluetooth keyboard. I started using this app back when I had an older iPhone and I have since gotten a new phone, I can confirm that my database transferred over without any issues. You just have to backup your apps to a computer before you switch phones and then sync. A barcode scanner would be awesome, and the ability to export your database to a spreadsheet would be amazing, too. But until then I'll continue using this and recommending it to my fellow polish lovers. It's worth the up-front effort, I've already avoided buying dupes!

I rely very heavily on this app to help me keep my 400+ bottle collection in order. I love being able to scan through the pictures (I take macro pictures of my swatch sticks) to decide what color I want to use. I'm also a big fan of being able to search by brand, color, finish, etc. There are a few things that would just take this app over the top and make it the ultimate polish organization tool: One- I would love it if there were a way to view recently added polishes, kind of like in iTunes. Two- There NEEDS to be some way to sync this app to the cloud. I lost my phone last summer along with all of my swatch pictures and had to go back and take them all again on my new phone. I've learned my lesson and back up all of the pictures I take on my computer now, but it sure would go the extra mile if this app could sync with the cloud so I wouldn't have to go through that. All in all, I'm very pleased with this app and use it almost on a daily basis. Four enthusiastic stars!

Basic but perfect for keeping track of my polish inventory. After once again buying a color I already had (hey, at least I'm consistent with my tastes) I went searching for an app that would prevent me from doing it again. Yes, you do have to input the info yourself, but unless you have way too many bottles it won't take very long, even taking pics as you go. I get what others are saying about a barcode scanner, but scanning a tiny barcode on a small round bottle can't possibly work that well. Get over it and type them in. Just pretend you're texting.

❤ this app. I actually use it to take pics of my manis while holding the bottle because its better for me to see the color, so the multiple pic thing isn't really an issue for me. The pic resolution could def be better and you really need to update the shade categories to make them customizable, but if not for that I would have given this a 5. Awesome for those of us obsessed with💅 & us girls who have tons of subscriptions UPDATE!!!! It’s been years and I STILL love this app.. BUT, there’s a HUGE issue with not being able to upload new pics from my iPhone library. I can only use the camera PLEASE FIX THIS SO I CAN RATE 5 STARS.

I love the concept of this app. There's a few things that could make it better. Like others have said a barcode scanner would be great to be able to add a color. My ideas: Being able to share your list with someone would be great. It would also be easier to be able to add new polishes by clicking someone's polish and automatically have it added to your list with the option of changing a category, adding your own picture and your own comments. Someone else suggested being able to use more than one category and I agree, that would be great.
