Our daughter is 7 months old and this camera is done. The screen lasts maybe an hour. The battery is terrible. And the app was great for about the first 4 months and now it’s awful. Won’t load the picture and now is constantly saying offline when it’s hooked on. Also the camera is internet based so if your internet goes out camera won’t work. Don’t waste your money.

This is a very difficult app to use, not to mention already having to deal with a lot of new things bringing home a newborn baby. The monitor itself often needs to be reseted as it often just shuts down and stops syncing. Once unplugged it will work again but who want to do that every week, or so. I’ve been using this product now for over a year and just having to deal with it bc it could not be returned as it was purchased months before our daughter arrived. The app has now removed the camera from it and won’t let me sync it at all. It just keeps saying “the camera setup process didn’t work.” I signed out to see if that would fix it, as that is the case most times but this time it won’t let me even log in with the correct credentials and even the “forgot password” option is not working. This is very frustrating when you have to leave your baby in their room without being able to watch her. Please fix issue!!!!

I would not waste your money on this WiFi vtech baby monitor and app. The app lasts for maybe a day before it has to be unplugged and reset. The app has to be reset daily because it will not load. This is really annoying especially when you are away from home or you are attempting to see what’s going on when the baby it sleepIng. With all of these poor ratings you would think Vtech would come up with a solution. The customer service was friendly and attempted to fix my issues. They had me reset my app to the old update. It worked for almost a week but it now seems like we are back at square one. Stay far away!

I wish I could give a ZERO star review. The camera and accompanying monitor for this app are terrible. The camera goes offline at least 3 times a day - I am constantly battling with it, starting, restating, connecting, disconnecting... it’s basically pointless especially at 3am when I’m trying to check on my baby and it’s just stalled out.... thinking thinking thinking... “camera offline”. Website isn’t much help either tried looking up support or updates to the firmware and have gotten no where. Save your money. This thing is garbage - i Gabe it the old college try (3 months of fighting) and finally I’ve purchased something else.

Wish I had read the app reviews before buying the camera. This app and associate camera are horrible. The app sometimes shows an old preview and says the camera is online when it isn't. Camera needs to be reset almost every time the app loads before it provides a preview and a functioning live feed. (Ended up buying a smart outlet to make the task of resetting easier.) The problems are the same regardless of the camera being on wifi or hard-wired Ethernet.
