We got this when we went to Gettysburg and it was fantastic and worth the cost. I saw they had a tour for Boston and paid 5$ for it. It wasn’t worth it. It doesn’t cover all the stops on the Freedom Trail, barely covers any historical information and is heavily focused on Social issues. Nothing wrong with discussing social issues but that’s mostly what it focuses on.

This app was recommended by the Vicksburg Expedition guide I purchased. Step 1 was to download the app, but still nothing useable. Step 2, download the tour using a passcode from the purchased book. This appears to have worked, but only because a Vicksburg placeholder appeared on the app. Another step (why this isn’t done all at once in Step 2 is known only to the developer). This is where the app fails. Nothing happens on this additional download step. While I haven’t lost any money - I still have the book and CDs/DVDs, the functionality advertised is misleading. The app does not work when at a tour site.

Very disappointing. Spent three hours at Gettysburg trying to get app to work. Did not know how to contact any customer service. Will not purchase another

Picked up along with a book at the Gettysburg gift shop. I expected the technology to be a perfect match for the need, GPS plus audio for the battlefield tour. Unfortunately, you simply cannot download the content of the tour. No indication whether it can't reach the server or what the problem is, just says to wait a moment. It's been many moments on several different high-speed networks but no joy.

Easy to download, takes some time in one place. AR feature a blast! Trying to make my own tour now.
