MyStudyLife: Study Planner

High school transition is hard for the parents too. This app has been a life saver. I set up my daughters calendar on my phone and installed the app on her phone and it synced across perfectly. She can add tasks/homework and due dates whilst at school and My phone is updated with that info so I can quickly see what she needs to work on tonight. Helps with getting her organised at night with what books she needs to take etc. My only complaint is that when homework is due there really needs an option for next lesson which auto fills the date. Right now have to check calendar and date before adding task. If it’s due to pigeon hole rather than hand in next lesson then there isn’t an option for that. Also agree more colours needed for subjects but wonderful assistant for any high schooler/parent.

This is a great app which has helped me with everything class-related. Gone are the days where I have to search through my bag for my timetable which is all ripped and creased, and because my phone is with me at all times, I don’t have to worry about forgetting my homework tasks and assignments. However, an issue which I’ve faced since I first downloaded the app about 6 months ago is the constant crashing - sometimes the app will just crash, and other times you will open the app to find you need to log in again, which is not a problem at all, apart from the fact when you try to log in again it doesn’t actually log in, and it takes you back to the login page. I’m not sure if anybody else is having the same issue but it is quite disappointing when I have to leave the app untouched for sometimes up to a week to let it work itself out before trying again. Apart from that, when it works it is an incredibly useful app.

I have been looking for an app that would track my lessons and that I could customise a lot, and this is it! It’s great at keeping you up to date with what lessons you have in a very aesthetically pleasing UI (User interface) I have been using this app for a long time now, and it’s safe to say it’s one of my favourites! Once set up it’s so easy to use. Being able to see what lessons I have on a single day and what teachers I have, and then being able to go to my while Callander to see the week. It’s great. I also really like how I am able to have 2 completely different weeks on my timetable. I could not find another app that does that. Improvements / New Features I would like to see: 1) Support for iPhone X, XR, XS, XS Max, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max. 2) support for dark mode. This would be so nice to be able to turn the iPhone dark mode on and that app goes dark mode as well. The same way Instagram does. 3) There was an issue with setting the time for some of my lessons. The time would jump around for no reason, there where no overlaps. I don’t normally write reviews. Only when the app 100% deserves it. And it really does. Two of the improvements don’t really affect the performance, it’s more about aesthetics. Thank you.

I was looking for a long time for a study planner but all of them didn’t really appeal to me. Then I found this one. It just looked good right from when I downloaded it. All the things you need is free, this app is free itself. It is the ideal app for students to organise their study life. I have kept it now for a long time and it is faultless. One thing I would add though is reminders. Not for a lesson or anything but just general reminders or notes on the timetable to remind our selves. Apart from that little thing, I don’t have any faults in this app at all. Very ideal and very good to be free also. If people are reading this and you haven’t downloaded it yet, go on and hurry up!! You’re missing out on a beautifully organised life with a very good app to help you!! Final words, amazing. The end 😉

I am currently doing a-levels. I downloaded the app a couple weeks ago and I find it very useful, I am much more organised since the download. I have also recommended it to many of my friends and they love it too. However I have one comment about the tasks and due dates. When you enter the deadline for a task it gives you dates not days of the week which I find very inconvenient. I accept finding out the date isn’t a huge task but I’d rather not have to exit the app to check the date of next Monday. You can enter the day of the week when you enter an exam which is so much easier to use.
