My Museum Story: Mystery Match

So I was weary about getting this game but it actually is good. The gane is a little difficult as you progress but i love that about this game!! Also everyone that wrote a review whining about the adds aren’t that smart because all the adds are optional. Ever time you beat a level you get the option of watching an add that will double you or coins, while I recommend this because the more coins you have the more power up you’ll be able to buy, but as i said there is a skip button and you can continue on. That being said this game tells you exactly what you arre going to be doing. All the other story match three games will say play levels to fix the house but then you end up feeding animals or catching parrots. This game doesn’t do useless side things. I personally love this game and recommend it to my whole family.

I can’t buy any packs or anything at all, every time I try it says “please check internet and billing settings” but I have no other problems with any other apps on my phone and the problem stated above isn’t detailed enough for me to pinpoint the issue, please help me, I can’t buy any of the starter packs because of this and I’m going to miss out on them. Also, I think some of your levels need work, I think it is level 21 (?), it is a hard crown drop level and I’m sorry but I find it ridiculous, I play loads of these match three games and I’ve never come across such a difficult item drop level not even when I got into the higher levels (in the 100s) the crown needs more places to be able to drop into, those two slots just make it too difficult, if you get it stuck in one of those squares, it’s pretty much game over and that’s extremely frustrating (especially since I can’t even buy anything), I have a picture of said level but I can’t place it on here. Otherwise, I really enjoy the game and as an archaeologist I would really like to continue to enjoy it, thank you for your time.

There are so many ads in this app that sometimes I have to close the game out completely because it just becomes an endless ad loop. The devs must be multimillionaires by now from all the ads that have come up on my time alone! It's not a bad game, although they could definitely make use of the screen space - some genius decided that there should be an excess of space around the play space so everything is much smaller than it could be. Oh yeah, and did I mention the ads? I get it, devs want to make money. But find a way to work the ads in without making the game unplayable, because here's a news flash - if the ads never stop, we can't play the game, and what's to keep us coming back? General rule - no more than one ad in half an hour/per session, and if you don't have the sense to make the ad self-closing, at least ensure *we'll* be able to close it when it's done playing. Also, more emphasis is put on the story than the gameplay itself. Please remember it's a game, not a story. The weird lack of use of screen space is forgivable, but between the inescapable cut scenes and the ads, it's just not worth opening again.

I like to have a backup game when I’m out of lives in the match three game I play the most. The storyline seemed interesting, so I thought I’d try this one. However, the graphics on the game board are so detailed - almost too detailed - the pieces were hard to distinguish, and it was not easy to see which blocks were covering statues, etc. I didn’t even go past Level 5 because the board was just too difficult to “read.” I had to focus on distinguishing the pieces so much that I couldn’t focus on the strategy of game play. It’s just too “busy.” (I feel like I should probably add that I play these match three games a lot. So I do have a legitimate basis for comparison.) Someone probably put a lot of time and effort into designing the graphics, but on the game board, I’d suggest toning it down. Give the pieces less shading and highlight. Also, make the option to skip certain things like the end screen where boosters go off and leftover pieces match up as well as character movements and dialogue. I’m sure it’s a good game, but it’s a no from me.

I was loving this game in the beginning, then I got a few games in. The levels got EXTREMELY hard REAL quick. Every game I play, I feel like it re-shuffles because there are no possible moves. The moves you have hardly ever help you get what you need to get, so you’ll use all your moves for no purpose until it reshuffles. You can literally be on the same level for weeks at a time. I’ve been playing for weeks now and instead of getting excited when beating a level, I just dread it because of all the bs that comes with the next level. The story line is just god awful, especially in Ancient Egypt. And just an FYI, calming music doesn’t stop me from wanting to throw my phone across the room when playing this horrible game. AND “BONUS LEVELS” Are COMPLETE crap. Let us skip them instead of having to wait 30 min for it to pass, because they are unbeatable! There are soo many ads during gameplay also!!! For game developers, I understand the game is supposed to be “challenging” but it shouldn’t take me WEEKS to beat ONE SINGLE LEVEL.
