My Gecko -Virtual Pet Game-

I’ve REALLY been wanting a bearded dragon but I can’t get one thanks to my parents.😠Anyway I got this game so that I could at least have something close.🦎I just have a few suggestions. One, I wish you could choose from a selection of lizards so I could have the bearded dragon of my dreams and other people can get what they want. Also, I wish you could do activities with your lizard like playing with it and taking it on short walks. I also wish you could make an avatar and take the lizard out of its cage so it can climb on you. Other than that it’s a good game.

I thought this app would be difficult.I thought you would have to buy stuff every second, buy food, have to complete levels. But it’s easy. Just check in every day, pet it, feed it, and then go back to what you were doing.I used to have a gecko, but he died and it was hard dealing with his death, and it was hard to take care of him. This app makes me feel like a pet owner again but easier. The only thing that I want is being able to breed the animals. Because to me it would make it feel even more realistic, or at least making it so you could pick what kind of lizard you want. But still this game is not about competition, not about money, and not about getting through difficult levels. It’s just a loving owner and their pet gecko.

This app is great and cute and all, but it’s a little bit boring. I don’t mean to be rude, and it’s great if that’s your style, but I like my games to be more interactive. I would suggest making it so that you can customize your geckos tank, and maybe add in where we are able to feed it crickets, mealworms, etc, and include the gecko hunting. Just some suggestions to make it more like a real leopard gecko care. Overall, I think this is a really great idea!

I think the idea of this game is great, especially when you don’t see much virtual pet games that include reptiles. However, when you play the game you only get to pet and feed the gecko; I feel like it’s too simplistic. I wish there were customizable features, including customizing the tank and gecko itself (perhaps have a variety of colors for the gecko?). Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to hate on the game. The art style is very cute (something which I really like), but I wish there was more to it.

I love this app, especially for younger children because it sets up a sense of responsibility, and it creates a boundary so the parents know how responsible their child is. Other than that, in the beginning I used to kill my gecko on accident a lot but now I remember that I have this app and currently I’m at 70 days 🥳 Lets make a leaderboard !
