My Colony

This app is amazing! It really is. But a while back I purchased the premium to get rid of ads and get creative mode. Because the app was getting buggy, I deleted it. It was in iCloud the whole time when I deleted it. ( keep that in mind ) Then a week ago I reinstalled the app, definitely not as buggy but now even after restoring my purchases creative mode doesn’t work. I can build, but there is nothing on the screen. Just the menu and a little icon saying. “saving game...” Even with the regular mode as well. I would appreciate if the developer could fix this in the near future as this was one of my favorite games.

I’ve been looking for a strategy type game for a while, but everything out there is pay-to-win style where it takes hours/days to upgrade a single building, but you could pay to upgrade faster. This game is amazing because you can play at your own pace, and offline even. They have a premium mode, but the game is fully functional in the free mode, as long as you can deal with the small add at the bottom. This game is perfect for budget conscious people that don’t want to get Nickel-and-dimes constantly. A few suggestions: -The latest update messed the saving up. If you turn your screen off or navigate to a different app, the game is messed up when you come back and won’t save. -The progression can be a little frustrating. You research things that unlock new buildings but they aren’t available until you build other buildings. From what I can tell, there’s no easy way to see what buildings require others, so you constantly have to look for your building list to see if new buildings are unlocked yet. Overall, amazing game! I’ll be playing this for a while. Please make more free to play like this!

I love this game but there are a few things I would suggest to improve the game. The save function keeps the game loaded with everything on the move. If you were to have it pause and save the game it could help with older devices with lower processing power. The other thing I would suggest pertains to the movement and pacing of the colonists and rovers especially when they are off screen. I went out of view of a few of the rovers only to find them in a loop around a ore mine for about a minute while I had a job set for them not ten spaces away. I would suggest tweaking the A.I. of the rovers. Other these things it is a very enjoyable game. Great job!!

This really is a great game. It's a little buggy from time to time but no iap as a trade off makes it worth it. I can't wait to see what all the developer has in store for it. I had been playing for a week before the last update. Great improvement. It's the game that will fill your early 2000's tycoon/simcity games void. I've tried a lot of city building apps on the App Store and this one is the best. Thank you to the developer for all your hard work and great mind. Please stick with it this game has the potential to be legendary!

I love this game because there are multiple game modes, civilizations and type of world. If you are just starting a game, you can do United Earth, Offline game (just to figure out what you are doing) and abundant resources. Another thing I like is I feel like you don’t need to check it everyday. You can go without playing it for a few weeks and you will pick up right where you left off. A bigger tutorial would be nice and the game overheats your phone like crazy so play in small increments.
