MS Relapse Tool

One of the most frustrating things about MS is the unpredictability of the disease. MS doesn’t care what your plans are, if it’s a weekend, a holiday, if you’re in the middle of a huge project at work, it will strike you down when you least expect it and, often, when it’s most inconvenient. And, as a patient, it can be hard to know when you need to call your doctor about your symptoms because if you call your nurse every time you think a certain symptom is a sign of a potential relapse, your nurse would stop answering your call. This app is a fantastic resource to help you navigate those muddy waters. Whether you’ve had MS for one week or 20 years, it’s always nice to have a resource that can help you make sense of this crazy disease.

I don’t have MS but am in the healthcare industry and have worked directly with MS patients. This is a great tool to help patients navigate all the confusion associated with understanding if they maybe or may not be experiencing a relapse. It asks all the relevant questions a neurologist would ask and provides a detailed summary of its findings. It really helps patients understand what maybe going on and if there is cause for concern. It clearly states it’s not a replacement for the neurologist but is a great tool to help patients who are dealing with issues on a ongoing basis. I believe it also serves as a great tool to educate patients with MS as to what to look out for and what to consider when experiencing symptoms. Great job with this tool!!!

This app is a great resource for my patients! They use it everyday and it helps them know about there condition and what can happen to them specifically! One of the key features of the app is the summary report generated after you take the relapse questionnaire. It’s a great snapshot of the symptoms you’re feeling and makes it super easy to communicate with your doctor! Overall this is a great app to help navigate often confusing and stressful relapses.

It also helps patients keep track of when their last relapse was. As a provider, I am recommending this app to all of my MS patients!
